Hello and welcome to Christchurch for the 3rd ODI between New Zealand and Bangladesh at AMI Stadium. I am Marc Ellison and I will be bringing you live coverage from the final match of the ODI series between the two teams.
We have been greeted by overcast skies and wet conditions, with the pitch being covered for the last three days. However, the ground staff have done a fantastic job to get the ground ready in time for the 2pm (local time) start.
With the overcast conditons and damp wicket in mind, Vettori has decided to bowl first after winning the toss. There is just one change to the teams for this match, with Southee coming in for Tuffey who has a slight hamstring strain.
The match shapes as an opportunity for Bangladesh to gain some momentum before the Test series and for their top order batsmen to find some much needed form and confidence on New Zealand pitches. However, it wont get any easier for them today after losing the toss. Their top order will have to face the music against a confident and desperate New Zealand seam attack eager to impress the selectors with spots in the Test team up for grabs.
The umpires and teams are heading out to the middle and we should be underway in just a few minutes.
